I Sandness annunciano il nuovo album “Vertigo”
Disponibile da oggi il primo singolo e videoclip “Not Your Dog”
Il power trio hard rock italiano Sandness torna sulla scena con il quinto album in studio, intitolato “Vertigo”, in uscita il 16 maggio 2025 via Rockshots Records.
Il disco, prodotto, registrato, mixato e masterizzato da Alessandro Del Vecchio presso l’Ivorytears Music Works Recording Studio, rappresenta un nuovo capitolo artistico per la band, nato da un periodo di importanti cambiamenti personali e professionali.
Composto in un momento di forte transizione, “Vertigo” racconta la sensazione di lanciarsi nel vuoto e abbracciare l’incertezza. I Sandness hanno rivoluzionato il loro approccio al songwriting, sperimentando un nuovo modo di lavorare insieme, ma senza snaturare l’identità sonora che li contraddistingue: riff potenti, melodie orecchiabili e ritornelli da cantare a squarciagola.
«Questo album è nato in un periodo molto particolare per noi. I cambiamenti che abbiamo vissuto ci hanno spinto a rimettere in discussione il nostro modo di fare musica. Vertigo parla proprio di questo: accettare l’ignoto, ma restare fedeli a ciò che siamo come band», raccontano i Sandness.
Composto da dieci nuovi brani, l’album fonde l’energia dell’hard rock con influenze power pop e una scrittura più matura. Un lavoro pensato per chi ama band come UFO, D-A-D, The Darkness, Y&T, ma con lo stile inconfondibile dei Sandness.
Per celebrare l’annuncio dell’album, la band pubblica oggi il primo singolo “Not Your Dog”, accompagnato dal videoclip ufficiale: un brano diretto, travolgente, carico di attitudine e con un messaggio forte di indipendenza e autodeterminazione.

Tra riff incisivi, groove martellanti e un ritornello esplosivo, “Not Your Dog” rafforza ancora una volta il sound grintoso e riconoscibile dei Sandness. Una canzone che invita a non farsi mettere in gabbia, perfetta per i live e per tutte le playlist rock ad alto volume.
I Sandness presenteranno il nuovo album dal vivo il 20 maggio 2025 all’Alcatraz di Milano, in apertura agli Eclipse e Gotthard!
“Vertigo” sarà disponibile dal 16 maggio 2025 su CD e in una speciale edizione limitata in vinile viola.

ABOUT:
Sandness is an Italian hard rock power trio with two lead singers formed in 2008 and focused on an intense live and studio activity. The band started out as a 4-member band and went through some line up changes in the first years but reached the final mark in 2012.
With four studio albums ranging from sleaze rock to melodic hard rock and an EP containing also 3 live tracks, the band has had the chance to share the stage with several renowned bands, among which we can find pillars of rock music like Marky Ramone, Lita Ford, Nazareth, Tygers Of Pan Tang, L.A. Guns, D-A-D, The Dead Daisies and many more.
The band is now ready to release their fifth album Vertigo, produced and recorded by Alessandro Del Vecchio, and to plan new promotional gigs around Europe. The new songs, in pure Sandness style, are catchy and melodic, with heavy riffs and a genuine rock’n’roll energy. Vertigo is set to be released via Rockshots Records in May 2025
