Aexylium are excited to share the news of their upcoming third album, “Myth of Mankind”, a record that introduces a renewed sound and creative direction for the band. Building on the journey started with their previous release, “The Fifth Season”, this album delves into new musical territory, highlighting the band’s evolution.
With the arrival of their new frontman, Sam Biganzoli, who brings a dynamic and versatile vocal style, and the talented Arianna Bellinaso, the album offers a fresh energy. “Myth of Mankind” combines powerful guitar riffs, grand orchestrations, and rich vocal lines with the signature melodies of flute and violin, elements that define Aexylium’s unique identity in folk metal.
Recorded by Davide Tavecchia at Twilight Studio, the album presents a production that emphasizes both intensity and detail. The visually striking artwork, designed by Gustavo Sazes, an artist known for his collaborations with Arch Enemy, Epica, Machine Head and more, perfectly complements the music’s depth and atmosphere.
Since forming in 2014, Aexylium has been a recognized name in the European metal scene, performing at festivals such as Dong Open Air, Montelago Celtic Festival, and Malpaga Folk & Metal, and sharing the stage with bands like Blind Guardian, Elvenking, Wind Rose, and Týr. With “Myth of Mankind”, they continue to expand their sound, creating music that resonates with fans of Eluveitie, Korpiklaani, and Amorphis.
Details about the release date will follow soon. With this album, Aexylium invite listeners to explore their most creative and dynamic work yet.
