The Italian band “Embrace my Ruin” (funeral doom) releases their new album “Kamaratòn”.

Embrace my Ruin is excited to announce the release of their debut album, “Kamaratòn” released for Endless Winter. Following their single, “Through A Shattered Glass” (available on YouTube), “Kamaratòn” features six immersive tracks that explore the depths of lonesome and melancholic funeral doom metal. With exasperated down-tempos, mournful riffs, and deep growls, the album resonates with fans of funeral doom legends such as Shape of Despair, Ahab, and My Dying Bride. Over the course of 55 minutes, Embrace my Ruin explores themes of unfulfilled expectations in tracks like “As Winter Comes” and “Pareidolia,” weaving a heavy-hearted mythological tale in the title track, inspired by the 16th-century poem of Italian poet Berardino Rota. The album was self-recorded and mixed at Kammermuzak Studios in Naples.

  • Raffaele Di Maio – Bass & Vocals
  • Marcello D’Anna – Guitars
  • Davide Di Cioccio – Guitars
