To give fans a taste of what’s to come, AydrA has released the second single, “Psycho Pain Control 2024.” This track is a reimagined version of the opening song from their 1996 debut EP, infused with the band’s evolved sound and perspective in the 21st century. The recording and mixing of “Leave to Nowhere” took place at WR Studios, helmed by AydrA’s drummer Marco Bianchella (also a member of Gunfire), while mastering was handled by Castaway Studios’ Paolo Ojetti (Infernal Poetry). The album’s artwork, an evocative piece titled “Delirio,” was created by artist Luca Morici.
“Leave to Nowhere” will be available in a digipack CD format as well as a limited-edition colored vinyl, with only 200 hand-numbered copies available worldwide. Pre-orders are now open via Rude Awakening Records and directly from the band.

AydrA’s journey began in the 1980s under the name Hydra as a Power/Thrash Metal band. Over the decades, they have evolved into a pillar of the Italian extreme metal scene, with releases such as “Icon of Sin” (1999) and “Hyperlogical Non-Sense” (2004). After a long hiatus, the band has returned with renewed energy and a mission to deliver thought-provoking music that resonates with their fans.
