Elle Tea, the one-man metal project hailing from Florence, Italy, is thrilled to announce the release of its latest album, The Past From Which I Ran, set to drop on June 21, 2024. Fans of classic early 80s metal and hard rock, particularly those who enjoy the sounds of Diamond Head, Saxon, and Blue Öyster Cult, will find much to love in this new release.
The Past From Which I Ran is a direct follow-up to Elle Tea’s debut album, Fate Is At My Side, released in 2023. Recorded between 2018 and 2021, this album preserves the vintage spirit and sound of its predecessor, deeply rooted in the New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM) and 80s melodic metal. The production aims to recreate the natural, raw sound that characterized that golden era of heavy metal.
The album’s tracks are a testament to Leonardo Trevisan’s dedication to the genre, each song crafted with care and accompanied by unique artwork. Leonardo, also a fantasy illustrator student, drew inspiration from renowned fantasy artists like Rodney Matthews and Michael Whelan to create the visual representations for his music.
Elle Tea is the brainchild of Leonardo Trevisan, a passionate musician and illustrator committed to keeping the flame of classic hard rock and early heavy metal alive. This project is entirely independent, with Leonardo handling all aspects of the music and artwork himself.
The Past From Which I Ran is the second installment in a trilogy of albums, with the final chapter slated for release in 2025. Leonardo’s vision for Elle Tea extends beyond music, aiming to blend his love for heavy metal with his artistic talents, promising fans a unique and immersive experience.
